Vallejo Pigments Faded Olive Green Pigment - VAL73122
Vallejo Pigments Faded Olive Green Pigment – VAL73122
Vallejo Faded Olive Green Pigment is ideal for adding realistic weathering tones to military vehicles, armor, terrain pieces, and dioramas. This natural earth and iron oxide pigment captures the muted, dusty greens commonly seen on worn camouflage, oxidized metal surfaces, aged equipment, and vegetation exposed to harsh outdoor conditions.
Finely micronized for outstanding dispersion, the pigment blends smoothly into water, acrylic mediums, or turpentine. Applied dry, it produces subtle shifts in tone that create depth and texture, especially on tracked vehicles, tank hulls, bunkers, and scenic groundwork. When fixed using Matte Medium, the pigment becomes a permanent part of the surface. Using Glaze Medium extends the working time, allowing for controlled run-offs, blended transitions, and layered shading across edges, crevices, and panel lines.
For additional effects, this pigment pairs exceptionally well with Vallejo’s Water & Stone range. Transparent Water can be used for damp stains or oily streaks, while Sandy Paste helps build textured layers such as dried mud, caked dirt, and rough ground surfaces. All pigments are non-toxic and packaged in 30 ml pots with a childproof top, with weight varying from 17–39 grams depending on density.
