This is the bottle you reach for when your paint is drying faster than your patience. The Green Stuff World Auxiliary Airbrush Retarder is a colourless acrylic additive designed to slow drying time and extend blending windows when airbrushing.
By increasing drying and blending time, it helps reduce tip dry, improves paint flow, and allows smoother transitions and more controlled gradients. It also slightly increases paint transparency, making it especially useful for glazing, modulation, and subtle layering work where harsh edges are unwelcome.
The formula is compatible with all acrylic paints and behaves similarly to a flow improver or flow aid, but with a stronger emphasis on extending open working time. For best results, it should be added sparingly, not exceeding 10% of the total paint volume. More is not better here unless you enjoy unpredictable results.
Ideal for miniature painters, scale modellers, illustrators, and anyone working with acrylics through an airbrush who wants more control and fewer clogs during longer sessions.
