THE PATH OF CIRITH UNGOL:SHELOB & GOLLUM
THE PATH OF CIRITH UNGOL:SHELOB & GOLLUM
High above Cirith Ungol, a nameless horror lurks within the twisting mountain tunnels. For countless ages, this terror has been Shelob, the monstrous offspring of Ungoliant, dwelling in the shadows of Mordor. Patient, ancient, and endlessly hungry, Shelob stalks her domain with chilling precision, ensnaring the unwary in thick webs before paralyzing them with venom and storing them for a later feast. Few who enter her lair ever escape.
The Path of Cirith Ungol is a multipart plastic kit for the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game, bringing one of the most iconic confrontations of the journey to Mordor to life. This set builds three miniatures: the treacherous Gollum as a twisted fighter for Garrison of Ithilien forces, the colossal Shelob for Army of the Great Eye and Cirith Ungol armies, and an envenomed Frodo captured in her vile webbing.
Shelob is an imposing centerpiece model, sculpted with layers of texture and detail that convey her immense age and alien biology. Her large scenic base enhances her sense of scale and menace, making her a standout piece for painters and collectors alike. Gollum is depicted creeping across a rocky scenic base, perfectly capturing his furtive nature. The webbed Frodo miniature functions as a scenario marker and is designed for use with narrative missions found in the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game Journal: The Treachery of Gollum, available separately.
This kit contains 42 plastic components and is supplied with one Citadel 80mm Round Base and two Citadel 25mm Round Bases. All miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted; Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints are recommended.
Rules for using these miniatures can be found in the Armies of The Lord of the Rings⢠and Armies of Middle-earth supplements, both available separately.
