The Caesarian Roman onager was a powerful siege engine used during Julius Caesar's military campaigns, designed to hurl large stones or other projectiles over considerable distances. Named after the wild ass ("onager" in Latin) because of the powerful kick it produced when firing, the onager was a type of catapult that utilized torsion power. It featured a single vertical arm with a sling attached at the top, which was pulled down and then released to launch the projectile.

Able to fling a missile great distance, the Onager was used for besieging forts or settlements. Onager would often be loaded with large stones or rocks that could be covered with a flammable substance and set alight. Perfect for devastating your foes!
