This is for those moments when acrylic paint decides to dry faster than human reflexes allow. The Green Stuff World Auxiliary Brush Retarder is a colourless acrylic additive designed to extend drying time and improve blending when painting with a brush.
By slowing the drying process, it allows smoother transitions, softer blends, and more controlled layering. It also slightly increases paint transparency, making it particularly useful for glazing and subtle shading where harsh edges tend to ruin the mood. The formula is compatible with all acrylic paints and integrates cleanly without breaking down pigments or coverage when used correctly.
This retarder should be added sparingly, not exceeding 10 percent of the total paint volume. Going beyond that doesn’t unlock hidden powers, it just creates problems you didn’t ask for.
