Green Stuff World Acrylic Color Dark Umber is part of the Maxx Formula acrylic paint range, developed specifically for hobby modelling and miniature painting. Created by experienced artists using new-generation pigments, this paint provides high opacity, excellent coverage, and a smooth matte finish, making it ideal for wargames, vehicles, miniatures, and dioramas.

The Maxx Formula range is designed to deliver a complete spectrum of essential tones alongside exclusive Green Stuff World colours. Dark Umber is a deep, versatile brown perfect for shadows, leather, wood, earth, weathering, uniforms, and terrain, especially where a rich, natural tone is required without overpowering surrounding colours.

Although optimised for brush painting, Dark Umber can also be used with an airbrush when lightly diluted with Acrylic Thinner, allowing for controlled layering, glazing, and subtle transitions while maintaining pigment strength.

Each paint comes in a 17ml precision dropper bottle designed for clean, controlled dispensing with minimal waste. A metal mixing ball inside the bottle keeps pigments evenly distributed over time, while the tight-sealing cap prevents drying and extends the paint’s usable life, even during long periods of storage.
