Somehow, they still end up fighting some of the Imperiumâs worst enemies. Chem Dog tells the story of what happens when a by-the-book Commissar is forced to rely on a regiment that barely respects authority, discipline, or basic hygiene.
The Story
Commissar Bastun Hasp expected his career to lead him to noble regiments of loyal Imperial soldiers. Instead, he is assigned to the infamous Savlar Chem-Dogs, a penal legion made up of convicts and outcasts. To Hasp, they are little more than criminals whose only value lies in dying for the Imperium.
When vital intelligence must be recovered from deep within enemy territory, Hasp is ordered to lead a small kill team of Chem-Dogs through ork-controlled land. Their objective lies inside a ruined Imperial bastion now occupied and fortified by a brutal ork Waaagh!.
To succeed, the Commissar must guide his reluctant and unpredictable squad through hostile territory, survive an overwhelming enemy presence, and retrieve the information the Imperium desperately needs. The problem is not just the orks waiting for them in the ruins.
The real challenge might be keeping the Chem-Dogs alive long enough to finish the mission without turning on each other first.
